Brandus has more than 20 years experience in a variety of disciplines, including working in the United States Senate, the American Embassy in Moscow and several years on Wall Street. He is also a veteran journalist who, as a Moscow-based correspondent for NBC Radio and the award-winning business/economics program Marketplace, covered the collapse of the Soviet Union and end of the Cold War. His reports have also been heard on National Public Radio, CBS Radio, and WTOP Radio, the all-news station in Washington DC. He has been a producer for CNBC and senior prime time producer for Fox News Channel. He is a real estate investor and as an entrepreneur once negotiated and boughtthe Russian rights to the Super Bowl from the National Football League, becoming the first person to show the game in that market.
